Things Have Been Quiet. Too Quiet.

Just to give a small, but, big update; we're looking at hiring an actress to do some narration work on Into the Madness: A Documentary. We're going to be pushing the release date back to Winter if possible. I think that I want this to go theatrical. I've decided that the first movie I shoot when I get back to Hawaii is going to be Life in the City of Angels.

And I've been thinking of the film that I want to do a live action adaption of. I was talking to Sid, from Traumatic Possession 3D: The Tape, yesterday and described the scene and was telling her about cutting the footage together from the animated films to make this serious emotional ending scene. If I can get this film made, I want people to be balling their eyes out at the end of the film. To give someone a hint, it's a Disney film that was made in the early 2000's.

Other than that, working on finalizing the scripts for the next three or four movies. We might have something else shot in the Winter after the three movies are shot back to back. This is something that's been in the works since 2004. Yes, nine years to get this film made and complete. It's time for it's journey to come to an end.

Kickstarter / Indie-Go-Go Campaign...

Starting next month, I will be starting either a Kickstarter or Indie-Go-Go fundraiser to draw funds for the next movies. We will have different levels of payments set up for the film. I'm thinking only $5k will be needed for getting both Traumatic Possession 3D films shot and getting DVD copies made. I think part of the funding will include goodies, depending on how much you donate. I'm thinking that $1 will get you just a basic DVD/Blu-ray/Home Video producer credit. Maybe if you donate $15, you'll get the Special Edition, Blood Soaked, DVD-R of Traumatic Possession 2D: The Tape. Possibly make it a special copy for the people doing the Kickstarter/I-G-G.

Anything $50 or over basically gets you a factory pressed copy of the trilogy. Possibly the scripts and have them autographed by all of the cast and crew. Whoever donates the highest will get a producer credit and whoever gets the highest out of five to ten will be credited on the posters. Or something. I'm not entirely sure yet.

Columbus was a Success!

Discussions with the script review regarding Traumatic Possession 3D 2 went well. The ending is going to be completely re-worked and I have no complaints about it. I was honestly relieved when we finished it. It didn't turn out as bad as the aftermath of the Traumatic Possession 3D: The Tape premiere. We will be announcing the cast and the characters come the time we start shooting the film.

What I can tell you about this film is that it's loosely tied into the lore of Traumatic Possession 3D: The Tape. This time, the story focuses around survivors who wind up meeting each other. Will Simon Lange be present in the film? Yes! One of the characters that I wrote is basically me in a nutshell; a laid back person who wants to be left alone and wants nothing to do with Simon Lange and what his possible whereabouts could be.

I attended the Ohio premiere screening for Christopher Mihm's The Giant Spider at the Grandview Theatre. While present as only a spectator, I had about three people come up to me and ask when I would have another movie coming out. It was humbling. It made me feel that I wasn't a complete fuck up for my first full length feature. Stories was brought up too as I talked to Dr. Bob. Stories is one that's in production, but there's nothing to it as it's nine, unrelated stories, which serve as pilots to films that can be made in the future.

The Giant Spider was fun and I was able to do a video message for him and I stumbled a bit on it. I was mainly trying to get to Dr. Bob and ask a few questions about some Asylum movies. As Bob has been screening them as a part of his show. And of course, The Asylum has thrown some goodies his way to promote their brand. I got a shirt and an LED flashlight that has been very helpful at night whenever I walk home from work.

I did get a chance to go into Tensuke Market Plaza and do some shopping on my way out of Columbus. I did go into the video store and buy a few Japanese DVDs for gifts and a few myself. I got Sadako 2D for my sister, I'll be picking up the Blu-ray soon in a few weeks. I grabbed Always: Sunset on Third Street '64; Be With You; Sakuran; and The Wings of the Kirin. Some of the DVDs that I saw for rent was the Japanese R2 DVD of Godzilla and Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster. These DVDs are from the magazines that came out a few years back. If I am able to stay out there a bit the next time, I'll have to get a membership and rent them. It was interesting to see the American films that they had Japanese DVDs too. They had Snakes on a Plane and the English title that they put on the Japanese release is Snake Flight!

Before I go for the day, because, I'm being a slacker... I'm annoyed that someone is talking about me. I posted a few videos on my Youtube page, but, after making another which I will not post, I will say this. get my new number off of our good friend. She's here in Ohio for the summer. Call me up and talk to me like an adult. Getting tired of these games.

Most Absurd Date ... Ever.

While I miss the days of being with my second ex-fiancee, moving on has been strange. It's been a good five years at this point that I've been trying to start dates and relationships. Back in March, I went out with a girl who was obviously not into me. No biggie. Well, went out again...hilarity ensues. While I will not go into specifics about this date, it did give me some ideas for material.

I am going to Columbus next weekend and I'm waiting to tell my co-producer this whole situation and see her reaction. Can't wait to see Chris Mihm's The Giant Spider. I got three days off before I leave for Columbus, hopefully I can get one of the scripts completed to show off to my co-producer so we can get one of the Traumatic Possession sequels shot.

And with all this dating shit, if my ex-fiancee didn't leave me, none of this would be happening. To make a commitment and then to walk away from it all after I have numerous letters and video messages that were left behind is numbing. When I opened the binder to store the hand-written pages of the Traumatic Possession sequels; out flew a piece of paper from a drawing/art pad that had big letters written on the page; "I LOVE YOU". And in each of the letters had full descriptions of why I was loved.

I didn't realize it was in that binder. I must have placed it in there while I moved from the house I was renting from my folks while they were in Maryland. To have that piece of paper fall out of the binder and into my lap was a shocker to me. And I am still finding stuff hidden around in my laptop. A Microsoft Word document from the day she left last August.

I almost wanted to start smoking again. The depression started hitting me, because after she left, I started to smoke. And for a while there, I stopped because I was filming and editing Traumatic Possession 3D: The Tape and I needed to stay focused. Alcohol has been slowly coming back into my life. Right now, I keep one bottle of beer in my fridge and I'll tell myself; "Tomorrow...."

But...

TOMORROW...
