So, Festival?

I just acquired another movie on film! I got the 1973 Martial Arts film, and my personal favorite, Chinese Hercules on 16mm! Bolo Yeung is a complete bad ass of a villain in this movie. When he's asked about what's to be done with someone in the way; "WE KILL 'EM ... AND DUMP 'EM!"

I believe that the film is in the public domain as there is a ton of copies of the film out there. So, that means I now have five films that are in the public domain that I own on celluloid. With this new addition, I do believe that a film festival is in order? This is what I have on celluloid:

Chinese Hercules (1973) - 16mm
Lucky Texan (1934) - 16mm
The Monster Walks (1932) - Super 8mm
Nosferatu, A Symphony of Horror (1922) - Super 8mm
S.S. Girls (1977) - 35mm

S.S. Girls is most likely not in the public domain. But, I do think that the U.S. rights are up for grabs as the license expired from the hack studio that originally released it on DVD here in the States. Also, I have a mysterious 16mm reel with some sort of television programming from Japan. Watch it be like that Nic Cage 8MM that came out in 1998.

So, maybe in the Fall of 2013, set up a film festival and screen all of these films prints, minus the Japanese 16mm and S.S. Girls and screen Traumatic Possession: The Director's Cut and Into the Madness as well?

The "Theater"

I am currently working on Double Feature Theater. Volume One consists of Werewolf in a Girls' Dormitory and Plan 9 From Outer Space. Volume Two cosists of Black Fist and Star Odssey. Volume Two was originally going to be something completely different, however, the film I had downloaded off of the Internet Archive only had two-thirds of the film. I only had an hour. It was a good thing I checked it or I would have been up a creek up a certain ladder. It was going to be a triple feature originally, since two of the movies clocked in at under an hour.

I'll be working on the encoding for the DVD on Volume Two tonight when I get off work. I look forward to rolling these out and getting them out there. And I'll be cutting trailers advertising the films in Double Feature Theater. I'm going to be doing a special double of Deep Red and War of the Monsters. Of course, it's the American cuts of these films, the originals are still under copyright in Italy and Japan respectably.

What's next for Volume Three? I'm thinking it over...

Double Feature Theater Vol. 1 DVD - April 5, 2013

I'm working on putting together volume one of my DVD-R series Double Feature Theater! DVD-R copies will go for sale on April 9th, 2013, the Tuesday following my eighth anniversary as a filmmaker. I have the first film encoded and ready to go which is Werewolf in a Girl's Dormitory. I cut together a thirteen minute intermission and then you'll have the second film, which hasn't been decided upon yet. I went through about three hours of intermission videos that I had downloaded off of the internet archive and hand selected them with trailers for Traumatic Possession 3D: The Tape, Nosferatu, and Lucky Texan. Like the back up DVD files for the DVD-R release of TP2DTT, this DVD will have the copyright warnings since Traumatic Possession 3D is copyrighted.

With Werewolf in a Girl's Dormitory, the video file was 4:3 with these black bars that kept shifting constantly throughout. I was going to just crop it to 16:9 and call it a day. However, I wanted to leave the film as untouched as possible. So, I cropped the bars off of the top and bottom and we got about 1.5:1 for the aspect ratio, as seen in the two screen caps below.

The final output on the size for Werewolf in a Girl's Dormitory came out to 3.05GB in .wmv in 720p. I was pretty pleased with how most of the intermission footage looked since a lot of it seemed sourced from VHS tapes. Night of the Living Dead is planned, but, it won't be until we get several volumes in. I am also considering making Night of the Living Dead a double feature DVD with Traumatic Possession 2D: The Tape - Unrated. I'll be sourcing the HD version from the internet archive for Night of the Living Dead, but, I won't use it for a Blu-ray release.

To change topics, on life, I went to Dollar Tree to buy food. No joke! I bought a two pack of pizza crust, pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, and searched for sauce and luckily came across one of two cans and grabbed it. Then, I grabbed a three liter of Orange Soda. $5 right there. And I tell you what, I had some of the best pizza I had ever eaten. And I'm not trying to brag. The first pizza, I made regularly. You got the sauce, then the cheese, and then top it off with the pepperoni. Second pizza, I did it opposite and I accidentally overcooked it. But, both pizzas were delicious.

My skills as a chef are not as what they used to be, not that I am saying I was like a Gordon Ramsey or anything like that. But, that first pizza looks yummy to look at.

It doesn't look as visually pleasant as the first one, but it still tasted good. And I felt like a pig in shit because I was craving pizza. So, for $4 for two decent sized pizzas, I was pleased. And to end this blog, I go another podcast uploading, but this just the raw HD video source. So, this shit takes hours on Youtube. On a final, final note; I was clearing HDD on my external and I deleted previous podcasts, but before I did, I took snapshots and uploaded two for your viewing pleasure. Good night, ladies and gentleman, and fuckslaves.

Stand Alone "Traumatic Possession 3D" Sequel. And a Copy of TP2D to the Mystery Person Messaging Me!

I've been brain storming a stand alone film to Traumatic Possession 3D called Traumatic Possession 3D: Apocalypse. That subtitle should give you a general idea about what the film is about. It is not in the same canon of the planned semi-remake/semi-sequel. This idea is that the world is a wasteland and there's only a few survivors left and sadly, one of those survivors is Simon Lange. I'm considering shooting it all on green screen and having the actors stand in front of the screen to act. And also shoot it back-to-back with Traumatic Possession 3D: Rebirth.

Also, today is March 9th which marks the anniversary of when I was hit by a car. Pretty crazy to think that it's been a year all ready. I address it in my podcast, which you can watch here!

And to the mystery person who was leaving me comments. If you are still out there, I have the FIRST made copy of Traumatic Possession 2D: The Tape just for you! Please shoot me a message at oeastwood92189@gmail.com with your name and address and I will mail it out ASAP! Here it is below!

Godzilla tonight! Seeing DESTROY ALL MONSTERS on the big screen tonight! Peace out, peeps!

The Beginning of the End.

Everyone's day of reckoning is coming. Be prepared. I am not taking prisoners. There will be another podcast where the truth comes out. And it will be offensive, an all out audible assault. Yesterday, I hit my breaking point with everything and everyone. I am done. This is D-Day you fuckers! This is video podcast below is the tip of the iceberg.

In more lighter events on how Orlando Eastwood's life is doing, ARMY OF TWO: THE DEVIL'S CARTEL! For $65, why the hell not? It's a shame you won't be playing as either Rios or Salem, but, this looks incredible none-the-less. The trailer showed this dude and he kicked the grenade and it was hilarious.

I would like to make an Army of Two film.

And I've got these asshole Trayvon Martin supporters claiming that I support rape and racism. Go fuck yourselves!
