I have been sick and have not been able to finish the final cut of
Traumatic Possession 3D: The Tape. However, the image above is what I have been doing in Sony Vegas using color correction and various other effects to make the film look like it was made on a big budget and not for $200. I believe I might have all ready mentioned this, but this stuff has not been cropped back down to scope and I am using the original 1.78:1 footage we shot the film with. Last year, I went in and cropped the film to scope, that was mostly a waste of time. With Sony Vegas, I am going to be copying the project files and then go in for each one and create the 1.33:1 and 2.35:1 versions of the film. 1.78:1 feels too sloppy for me. I prefer a broad image and scope, 2.35:1, is my canvas of choice for when we make movies.
Thanksgiving was ok. Was pleasantly surprised when I saw that the dollar theater got
Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, but was only in 2D. Saw it again for the third time and plan to probably catch it again on either Monday or Tuesday when I have my next day off. I am about to head out to my job and start my Black Friday duties. Hopefully, this will be my final year and Winter 2013, I will be chilling on the shores of Waikiki.
Have a great Thanksgiving, y'all. And if you're in Columbus, there's going to be a special new trailer coming December 8th for
Traumatic Possession 3D: The Tape. So, stay tuned. And I am not posting this on Youtube either. Can't be posting all of my material on Youtube.
