Oh, IMDB. Do You Love Me That Much?

No real news to report right now. Just getting some contracts in order for the pick up shots for Traumatic Possession 3D. Filming should be completed first weekend of October at the earliest and the theatrical screening/premiere should be around December or January. But, let's talk about what I wrote in the subject heading; the "Internet Movie Database".

I guess I just have to be thankful for living in the digital age that I am in. I don't think I would be able to make it as a filmmaker if I was living in another time before now. Hell, even a few years ago, it was nearly impossible for me to get anything up there. I still haven't resubmitted Maze of Thought which was my first short film. Two weeks ago, out of the blue, I decided to go in and resubmit Crisis and was thinking that this is just going to be a waste of time. I was wrong and Crisis is now listed on the IMDB.

That was September 7th, 2012 that it finally popped up. Two days later; I decided to go in and resubmit Truth in Meanings which is my third short film before graduating high school in Hawai'i. Seeing as Crisis only took two days to be added, Truth in Meanings took longer. I submitted it on the 9th and when I came home today, very sick, Truth in Meanings was up on IMDB to my surprise.

I will probably get around to adding a head shot to my page and make some posters for the short films whenever I get some money rolling in from getting Traumatic Possession 3D released. I need to get a new head shot made; my current one is a good five years old and as much as I love it, time to get a new one.

It gives me a feeling of pride that my work is getting the recognition it deserves to be listed on the IMDB. It makes me feel more legitimate, especially now when it comes time to put out the casting calls and such. Looking back and seeing that it's been almost eight years since Maze of Thought was made back while I was a teenager living in Germany really brought back those feelings that I was out to accomplish something and to get my name out there.

Got the cover art mostly completed for the Bootleg Edition of Traumatic Possession 3D. Can't post nothing yet on it until we get all the filming completed and have the final cut ready to go. Final cut should be ready by the beginning of November. Then I just have to go through and finish the 3D conversion and we are good to go on having everything ready. Not sure yet on whether or not I want to screen the 3D or 2D version of Traumatic Possession 3D. I will have buy 3D glasses so that the audience can enjoy it.

Seeing as I have the day off from work today, I am just going to get my paycheck; hope my Blu-ray copy of Piranha 3DD arrives in the mail; and do some writing. Was contemplating going to see either Finding Nemo 3D or Resident Evil: Retribution 3D, but, I need to save money. My birthday is next Friday and I am looking forward to seeing Dredd 3D. I liked the use of La Roux's In for the Kill in the trailer. Hard to believe that I will be twenty-three this year.
