Announcing My Little Short Film Entitled "Campaign".

Seeing as how Kevin Tancharoen had some good luck doing his Mortal Kombat: Rebirth short film; I kept having the idea of doing a short on a Marvel comic book character that I want to portray. The title of the short film is called Campaign. The first draft that I wrote this morning was twelve pages long. It was two pages longer than I wanted it to be. I am working on the second draft right now and I am trying to shorten it down to ten pages in length.

A problem I had with this character and his universe was the lack of female of villains. After reading that DareDevil made his way back to Marvel and Disney, I figured we could bring a key female character from the DD universe over to this short film. Also, Matt Murdock aka DareDevil is brought up in this story, but not seen.

I gave the first draft to my co-producer of Into the Madness: A Documentary and she thought it had potential and that I should tweak it up some to get it down to ten pages. Second draft is finished. And I'll be messaging it to her in a few hours before I go to work. I'm hoping this could open the door for me to get to play this character. It's one of my favorite characters and the three film adaptions done on him have been decent, but I hope I can breathe some life into the character and get him back on the big screen.
