"Stories"...

I am currently working on a short film collection which will include nine shorts and they will be, at a maximum, ten minutes each. One of the short films will be a prelude to Sadisme. I mentioned it a while ago, something called Wonder and is a ten page love letter to someone and Sadisme. Ha. I will probably do half of the stories in Stories. I can tell you that the plan for Wonder is to be in B&W and have an aspect ratio of 1.33:1.

Another one that I can tell you about is Tourmente aka T is for Torture. That was originally going to be the short film I did for The ABC's of Death. However, I decided against it, as some of the specifications was that they could edit the short and that the short must be in 1.78:1 for the aspect ratio. I don't know about you, but, I can't do just matted widescreen, which is 1.78/85 for an aspect ratio. The aspect ratio will vary for each of the short films. I will be talking to Abby and Stephen and some others about doing work on the shorts.

Finally, I will be getting my IMDB page update soon and I will be going IMDB Pro and searching out indie filmmakers in the states surrounding me and try to get some acting gigs going. I am looking forward to wowing some people. And to my mysterious fan who leaves me messages, let me know what you think of Traumatic Possession 3D: The Tape.

With the facial hair growing in nicely, I really think that my appearance is becoming ideal for Juggernaut 3D.  Which is inspired by the look of German actor Benno Furmann in the film Princess and the Warrior. I am hoping to get around to shooting Juggernaut 3D in early 2014. I am spending my time writing Ghosts of Mansfield and working on notes for Juggernaut 3D and two untitled projects. I will be making one of the untitled films before I get around to Juggernaut 3D. And then Sadisme, Traumatic Possession: Rebirth, and Maze of Thought will probably be the follow ups after Juggernaut 3D.

Now, to quote Sharlto Copely as Wikus Van Der Merwe; "I'm the sweetie man!"

Here is the full length film, theatrical cut, presented in 2D. Video on top is the film; video on the bottom is the film with commentary which I recorded at 4 am this morning. I am working on the director's cut. The director's cut will be released at the earliest in March. It all depends on how fast we get Ghosts of Mansfield finished.

Thank You to Those Who Came.

I want to thank everyone who had came out to the screening of Traumatic Possession 3D: The Tape. Everything was going good, until the movie actually started. I wasn't aware that most people forgot about VHS and how VCR worked. I know that scope, 2.35:1 is my preferred aspect ratio and that VHS is 1.33:1.

I want to personally apologize that we had a heckler, two, in the audience. A woman who decided to say some foul things and walked out during the first half of the film. Then, we had this little drunk hipster twink who decided to say; "Fuck this. Fuck that. Is this fucking Texas or Mexico? Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. And fuck some more." And said this all very loudly. And it's a shame. This was my night and this little queer-bait, and I was sent this in a text message, that he wanted attention and to make this all about him. And we have the Q&A recorded and he crashed it. None of this is going into my documentary, Into the Madness.

He asked the dumbest damn questions. He asked something around the lines of "Did you not use any music because you were afraid you would get sued?" Well, you're obviously too drunk to pay attention, the film had music throughout the whole entire film. And then tried to smart but fell on his ass as he slurred in his question; "Did you see that there was similarities between this and Bridget ... Bridget Jo's... Bridget Jones' Di... Diary?"

I have the video and I'll probably upload it tomorrow if I get a chance. I do want to thank the people that did watch it and ask about all of the technical aspects of the film. We did give out a signed DVD copy of the film. The guy who won the copy was nice. He was talking about how he was going to Hawaii to surf. It was nice to talk about the place I call "home". It wasn't a total loss, but, you cannot turn back time and that heckler should honestly be ashamed.

Hey, I got something coming...

Starting Some Work on Nosferatu.

I am going to be starting some of the work on Nosferatu. Right now, I'll just be creating new titles and splicing in some of the SD footage into the film since the first few minutes of the film on my print is in rough shape. Was hoping to have some VCD copies of Traumatic Possession 3D: The Tape ready for the screening, but, I doubt I'll have copies to sell at the screening. But, I will have about 10 to 15 copies ready to go on January 15th. Started writing Ghosts of Mansfield the other night since vacation did not go as planned.

2013, What a Way to Start Off My Year.

Before I continue, I am not naming names here. I'm keeping this a private affair. Because I don't want certain aspects of my personal life on here. Okay? Let's continue...

January 3rd, I was supposed to leave at 11:45 in the morning. I was leaving to Maryland and I get up, bathe, and call my mother at 10:45; an hour before I was supposed to leave. I am told that a loved one is sick in the hospital. I am in a state of shock over this and I am told that we will be delayed a few hours. I am a wreck over this and I don't feel at all like I am going on vacation.

We all got together and left at around 5 pm and we did not arrive in Maryland until 11 pm. I sat in the passenger seat and just felt like shit. I had my iPod on and was playing music pretty much the whole time. Then towards the last few hours, I needed to laugh. I couldn't take listening to Rammstein and all the other artists; so, I popped on some Opie and Anthony. I listed to a broadcast that was done in April 2012 and I cracking up

January 4th, we woke up early and things are not getting better. The mood is just fucked. We went to this ceremony, again, not naming names. And the plan was just to chill for the weekend and celebrate and I could get some writing done. We hit the ceremony and went to have a lunch at Olive Garden. The mood was just depressing. I asked to go to Wal-Mart that was near the place we were at; this was a few days before we left town.

At Wal-Mart, I was looking for these $5 double feature Blu-rays. The Wal-Mart here in Mansfield is just fucking despicable and never gets anything in terms of Blu-rays. You can have a million DVDs for $5 each and twenty Blu-rays total. They did get a $7.88 bin with lackluster titles that I all ready own. The Wal-Mart in Frederick, Maryland; c'est beaucoup! Had the cardboard display and had them stacked up and good to go.

I picked up five of those double features for $5 and a triple feature Blu-ray of movies with The Rock. I got Deep Rising and The Puppet Masters; Grand Duel and Keoma; Hollow Man 1 & 2; Hostel 1 & 2; When a Stranger Calls and Happy Birthday to Me; and the triple feature which contains Doom, The Scorpion King, and The Rundown. The triple feature was $13 plus tax. Tax wasn't as bad in Maryland as it is in Ohio. I am not home currently and I am at my folks' place and they still haven't upgraded to Blu-ray. That will change here soon if I have anything to say about it.

It's a little after 2 am and I am just sitting here typing this hoping that this family member gets better. I am in a state of despair. This person was the key person who inspired me to make movies. Watching Godzilla movies with me, pretty much nonstop. The last time I spoke to this person was on Christmas as I was heading out to go see Django Unchained and this person said that when they get back from Vegas, we'd all celebrate Christmas. And now...

I don't think I'll be sleeping tonight. I am going to probably sit back and listen to comedy. Because God knows I need to laugh right now. 2012 was fucking God-awful; and now 2013 is off to a miserable start. The Traumatic Possession premiere next weekend isn't so exciting now, given that I have a beloved family member in the hospital. We need a miracle, God. Please...

Let's Talk Piracy.

Happy New Years. I figured I would get this out of the way. I had a draft that I deleted recently where I discussed my views on piracy. After taking a look around and fearing that TP3D would hit before release date, I saw The Hobbit had hit the net. Not a simple camera copy that was filmed in a theater, but an actual screener copy of the film. How in the hell did this happen? It's simple, someone wasn't trustworthy enough to be given a copy. The studios give these copies out but you have to sign off on getting it and agree to not lend your copy out to anyone.

Now, here's where I could be a real asshole and say that I do not tolerate piracy at all and will be a big meany and go after everyone who downloads my work. No. If you download my film, if it's a camera copy or a screener or a rip, at least buy it when it's released or if you can find a copy. I doubt there will be a camera copy of Traumatic Possession 3D: The Tape, we're only having one screening for now. We're still working on festival screenings.

But, that's just a sum up on my views of piracy. I could go on forever about talking about it. Ordered Other Side of the Game and The Samaritan on Blu-ray from Amazon and spent $12. Looking forward to getting Dredd 3D on Tuesday. I really loved that one; plus, great birthday too seeing as it came out that day here in the States. Also, getting Hometown, which is an indie film. I'll be buying that copy directly from the guy who made it. Like Psycho Street.

I will try to get the VCD copies ready to go for the premiere and try to sell copies of the film there. So, if you go to the premiere, you will possibly get the film, about two days prior to the release date. There will be a DVD-R copy that is an exclusive, just for the premiere. This special disc will have both 2D and 3D versions and will be autographed.
